Wuxi Municipal Party Committee and Government Leaders Observe Afilm Semiconductor Thin Film Deposition Equipment R&D and Production Major Project

Zhou Wei, Chairman of Afilm Semiconductor, reported in detail on the Afilm Semiconductor project progress and future development plans, Afilm's core team, business scope, and product application areas to Secretary Du, Mayor Zhao, and other leaders. The leaders of Wuxi Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government positively affirmed the achievements of Afilm Semiconductor in R&D investment, project milestones, and the introduction of talents from home and abroad.

With the strong support of the leadership and various departments in Wuxi, Jiangyin, and the High-tech Zone, the Class 1000 and Class 100 cleanrooms of Afilm Semiconductor reached operational standards in May this year, providing robust cleanliness assurance for the successful development of the first equipment. The project is expected to commence production in December this year, with a full production capacity of 50 sets of thin film deposition equipment annually, achieving an estimated annual sales revenue exceeding RMB 600 million.
