December 31st, 2023, morning, the main building topping-out ceremony of Afilm Thin Film Deposition Equipment Project was grandly held at the on-site project headquarter.

Zhou Wei, Chairman and GM of Jiangsu Afilm Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd., and Yang Chao, Executive Vice President of CESE2, East China Region, attended the topping-out ceremony. Also the Afilm Semiconductor team in attendance at this topping-out ceremony were Zhu Shunli, Deputy General Manager; Zhang Xiang, Facility Director; Zhang Jun, Product Director; Xu Xuming, Engineering Director; along with the supervisory staff and participating construction units, totaling over 50 people.

Mr. Yang Chao, Executive Vice President of CESE2, East China Region, delivered a speech at the topping-out ceremony. He fully affirmed the progress made by the project team despite the tight schedule and heavy workload and expressed appreciation for their diligent efforts. The topping‑out of the main structure marks a phased milestone in the project and lays a solid foundation for the subsequent construction, as well as placed the hope that CESE2 would take this opportunity to continue to expedite the schedule, coordinate construction operations, adhere to the highest standards and optimal quality, and spare no effort in advancing the project.

Zhou Wei, Chairman of Afilm, delivered a speech at the topping‑out ceremony. He stated that the successful implementation of the project would provide strong support for Afilm's future development. He expressed his gratitude to the project team for their dedicated efforts and noted that the entire process, from the signing, planning, land acquisition, and groundbreaking since February 2023, had been accomplished seamlessly in less than a year. The project held its groundbreaking ceremony on 12th October and successfully topped out on 31st December of the same year— in just over two months, achieving a remarkable construction feat at lightning speed. Such an efficient construction process owed to the care and support of the Jiangyin Municipal Government and relevant authorities, as well as the close collaboration and hard work of CESE2. From the very beginning of the project, we already set a goal of pursuing excellence and united a group of outstanding talents who are proactive and strive for progress. Today's topping‑out is the result of everyone's concerted efforts and joint endeavor.

Throughout this long construction process, we have encountered countless challenges and difficulties. However, our team demonstrated its resilience and wisdom in the face of such adversities, Every participant has made silent contributions to this shared dream and has devoted their full efforts to the project.
